This morning Pastor Chris Holman will be given instruction concerning the Fear of the Lord, followed by a dramatic reading of “Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God, ” that was originally presented by Jonathan Edwards in Enfield, Connecticut on July 8, 1741. Edwards’ sermon played a key role in starting the “First” Great Awakening.
